How our Pools are made

Backed by solid science we know you pool will deliver on the promise of fun!

First Layer
This layer is a chemical barrier to ensure proven
release without the stress of the pool on the
mould. This process is very important as without the
correct chemical release the pool would be stressed
at the very early stage of its life.

Second Layer
This is a chemical resistant CCP Gelcoat that sets
the water away from the colour surface of the pool.
This process can be done in two parts, however,
with technology and the research and development
of our product this process has been reduced to a
single process which removes the risk of the layers
separating.

Third Layer
This is a vinyl ester epoxy resin that is laid up
with a chopped strand matt. The epoxy is totally
water resistant and is a chemical barrier that has
mechanical strength and chemical properties. This
same product is used in the aerospace industry
making parts that are seen most aeroplanes today.

Fourth Layer
This is a resin backed reinforcement material that establishes rigidity and at the same time allows for tenso flexile strength of this layer to flex, keeping in mind the unstable ground forces in New Zealand.

Fifth Layer
Patented Core materials are essential in the laminate of a pool as this will put the strength in the correct areas of the pool that experience the greatest load. All of these load areas are calculated and positioned by Gurit Composite engineers, an external design and monitoring company for Justham Pools, a 100% New Zealand product.

Sixth Layer
This layer is a resin impregnated woven roving reinforcement.

Seventh Layer
Structural formers are used in this layer to establish a top plate of the pool. This structure does not require a ring beam before the coping tiles are laid.

Eighth Layer
This is a final layer that protects the pool from the ground which can be as corrosive as the water in the pool.
